HTA program

HTA I. 2023

On 2-4 February, another intensive training "Patient Involvement in Health Technology Assessment Processes - HTA" took place. The educational programme was designed for attendees of educational programmes in previous years as well as for newcomers.

The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry were behind the birth and organization of the course.

HTA IV. 2021

The follow-up educational program "Involvement of patient organizations in the procedure for determining the price and reimbursement of a medicinal product for the treatment of rare diseases" was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the AIFP on 2nd,  3rd,  and 10th  December at the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

HTA III. 2021

At the beginning of 2021, on Saturday 16th January, further patient organizations representatives’ education in the area of HTA took place and their involvement in health care decision-making processes. Training was online via the Teams platform.

HTA I. 2019

The basic intensive program in the area of HTA (Health Technology Assesment) was held again in October and November this year for another 27 representatives of patient organizations. It was held at the Ministry of Health CR. The name of the program was „Involvement of patients in health care decision-making processes“and was diveded in 6 modules.

HTA II. 2019

Based on basic course „Involvement of patients in the process of Health Technology Assessment – HTA I” that was held at the end of the year 2018, the Ministry of Health CR and the Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry (AIFP) prepared advanced course for the same participants who received a certificate from the Minister of Health CR his deputies and executive director of AIFP.

HTA intesive program 2018

The fourth annual all-day conference APO Summer School was held in the end of August
2018. The main topic was Health Technology Assessment and involvement of Czech patients.
The part of it was Round table with deputies of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic,
the State Institute for Drug Control, the European Parliament, the Czech Medical Association,
the Patient Council* and HTA experts from abroad. All the participants agreed about
importance of involvement patients in the new Czech pricing and reimbursement
processes.
